The License Categories
Berlin-Partners have the option to choose different categories of licenses and can engage as long term partners.
Licencee
Companies preferring not to become Berlin Partner Shareholders are nevertheless invited to become licensees by concluding a licensing contract. Berlin Partner licensees enjoy a level of benefits depending on their category and the amount of the licensing fee.
Starting at license category C, companies are given the opportunity to enter into an additional partnership with the Business Location Center Berlin (BLC), which includes direct access to all relevant data and a seat on the advisory board.
Category A
License fee: €10,225 plus VAT
Services of Berlin Partner:
- Company representation at all national events and in all publications produced by the City Marketing Co. According to Category A
- The right to use the Berlin Partner logo in your company’s corporate communications
- The right to use information materials and publications produced by Berlin Partner (films, brochures, flyers) for the corporate communications of the Berlin-Partner
- Personal invitations extended to top managerial personnel to events such as the Jour Fixe
- The right to use the exclusive internet area
- Subscription to the monthly newsletter
Category B
License fee: €18.750 plus VAT
Services of Berlin Partner:
- All benefits contained in Category A
- Company representation at all national events and in all publications produced by the City Marketing Co. according to Category B
- Invitation to events such as the monthly Jour Fixe (may be transferred to another person)
- Invitation to the ‘’Berliner Hoffest’’ courtyard festival organized by the Mayor of Berlin
- Advice and consulting from our VIP service regarding events in Berlin
- Use of the Location Database
Category C
License fee: €37,500 plus VAT
Services of Berlin Partner:
- All benefits contained in Category B
- Company representation at all national events and in all publications produced by the City Marketing Co. according to Category C
- Invitation to the ‘‘Berliner Rede“, the German President’s annual Berlin speech
- Partnership with Berlin Partner‘s Business Location Center of Berlin Partner GmbH (upon request)
- Exclusive invitations to sporting and cultural events in Berlin
- Participation in at least one social event per year
- Procurement of speakers for events in Berlin
- Participation of the Berlin-Partner company in the organization of events in Berlin
Category D
License fee: €75,000 plus VAT
Services of Berlin Partner:
- All benefits contained in Category C
- Company representation at all national events and in all publications produced by the City Marketing Co. according to Category D
- Participation in talks with members of the Berlin Senate
- Invitation to events supported by Berlin Partner
- Logistical support from Berlin Partner for VIP service for your guests in Berlin
- Logistical support from Berlin Partner in the preparation of conferences, symposia and congresses in Berlin
Category E
License fee: €150,000 plus VAT
Services from Berlin Partner:
- All benefits contained in Category D
- Company representation at all national events and in all publications produced by the City Marketing Co. according to
Category E - Invitation to all exclusive events organized by Berlin Partner
- Invitation to Berlin Partner projects with foreign business guests and journalists
- Active involvement in the press work of Berlin Partner GmbH
- Support for exclusive access to museums and cultural events in Berlin on the occasion of company events
- Participation of Berlin Partner in any of the licensee’s Berlin-related events taking place abroad
- Invitation to the ‘‘Kaminabend’’ fireplace evening with the supervisory and advisory boards of Partner für Berlin Holding
- Inclusion in delegation trips organized by Berlin Partner
- We also offer your company additional customized services upon request
Shareholders
The financial input of our shareholders enables our ongoing work and creates the economic base for all of our activities. Companies make a primary capital contribution and receive a corresponding number of voting rights at the annual members’ meeting, where each vote can be used to influence strategic and content-related matters. Berlin Partner membership is dependent upon the conclusion of a licensing agreement.
