The Mayor of Berlin’s annual courtyard festival or "Hoffest" is celebrated each year in September when the German Federal Parliament begins its new session. Approximately 3,500 invited guests from the fields of politics, business, science and culture gather in the courtyards of Berlin’s City Hall and the neighboring Jüdenstrasse for a festive evening of fun.

On the very same evening, on the grounds in front of City Hall, the Bavarian State Chancellery celebrates the commencement of the Munich Oktoberfest.

Berlin Partner GmbH has been responsible for the Hoffest’s event planning and sponsor acquisition since it began in 1999. Sponsors are invited to support the event by contributing info stands, catering and cultural programs or by submitting a financial contribution.
