Einladung zur Vernissage „UdK x Berlin“ am 23. Februar 2026 um 18 Uhr Wir freuen uns sehr, Sie zur Vernissage der Ausstellung „UdK × Berlin“ am Montag, den 23. Februar 2026, um 18 Uhr im Masumi Space einzuladen – dem kreativen Treffpunkt direkt am Berliner Kudamm. Gemeinsam mit Ihnen möchten wir den Dialog zwischen Kunst, Universität und Stadt eröffnen. Der Regierende Bürgermeister von Berlin, Kai Wegner, Professor Dr. Markus Hilgert, Präsident der Universität der Künste Berlin, und Dr. Stefan Franzke, Geschäftsführer von Berlin Partner, werden die Ausstellung offiziell eröffnen. „Vier der besten Unis in Deutschland. Fünf, wenn man die Straße mitzählt.“ Anknüpfend an die Berliner Imagekampagne macht die Kooperation des Landes Berlin mit Berlin Partner und der UdK Berlin das kreative Zusammenspiel von Stadt und Universität erlebbar. Die Ausstellung zeigt Arbeiten von Studentinnen und Studenten sowie Lehrkräften der UdK Berlin. In unterschiedlichen künstlerischen Formaten wird sichtbar, wie eng kreative Praxis, Forschung und das Leben in der Stadt miteinander verwoben sind. Kuratiert wurde die Ausstellung von Dr. Michaela Conen (Leitung) und Insa Ruckdeschel (Marketing Managerin, Stabsstelle Strategisches Marketing der UdK Berlin). Als Rahmenprogramm erwarten Sie Music, Drinks und Fingerfood. Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist nur auf Einladung möglich. Die entstandenen Werke sind vom 24. bis 26. Februar 2026 in der Zeit von 13:00 bis 20:00 Uhr im Masumi Space (Kurfürstendamm 229, 10719 Berlin) zu sehen.

Berlin Partner for Business and Technology GmbH is organizing a business delegation for Berlin-based companies to Austin, Texas, to participate in the South by Southwest (SXSW) - the world’s leading festival for technology, business, and the international digital and creative industries.

From March 10–17, 2026, Berlin will present its strengths as a European startup hub and creative centre, bringing innovative projects and networking opportunities into Austin’s fast-growing tech ecosystem.

This year’s delegation will focus on AI, Creative Industries and DefTech, presenting Berlin’s innovative spirit on the global stage. Our goal is to bring the Berlin economy to life, facilitate networking in the USA, create B2B meetings, and promote the exchange of information. We aim to connect with international investors, potential customers, stakeholders, and experts from the U.S. ecosystem, as well as delegations from around the world.

In addition to attending SXSW, our participating companies will have the opportunity to pitch on-site, join panels, meetups, and site visits, and take part in all Berlin Takeover activities.

Please note that we have already selected our delegating companies. However, you can apply to join our waitlist in case a company drops out. Join our waiting list by filling out our applipcation form. 

Important Note: All delegates are responsible for their own travel expenses (airfare, hotel, daily meals, etc.).

  • Panel currated by Lutz Leichsenring on the nighttime economy & release of the NTER 2026 report
  • Unboxing Berlin: Talk show format curated by Berlin Partner (topics: Berlin as an entry point to Europe, Berlin is "open for business", Berlin as a liveable city)
  • Panel by medianet berlinbrandenburg on the topic of games (details to follow)
  • Company pitches: Berlin companies present their innovations -> group picture after the pitches
  • Transition to the music night (official SXSW music showcase approx. 8:00 PM - 2:00 AM)
  • Berlin DJs will perform (Martin Eyerer and JPLYN confirmed, more to follow)
