Colosseum Event Berlin GmbH

David Boldt, CEO, Colosseum Event Berlin GmbH

1. Describe your company in a tweet.

The Colosseum Berlin is an iconic cultural and event venue located in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. With over 10,000 square meters of space and flexible usage options, we offer a setting for conferences, concerts, film premieres, exhibitions, and unique formats. Our goal is to reimagine culture and the creative industries in a historic location and bring it to life.

2. Why do you engage as a Berlin-Partner?

Berlin thrives on the collaboration of strong stakeholders. As a Berlin Partner, we aim to contribute to strengthening the city as an innovative, open-minded, and creative hub through our projects, our values, and our network.

3. What topics drive you in your industry?

We focus on sustainable event planning, fair working structures in the cultural sector, digital transformation, and the question of how spaces for community, exchange, and new narratives can be designed.

4. What makes Berlin special for you?

Berlin combines contradictions in an inspiring way: historical and forward-looking, raw and elegant, chaotic and structured. It’s precisely this energy that drives us.

5. Why is Berlin attractive for your company?

Berlin is a place for experimentation, ideas, and encounters. The diversity of people, perspectives, and projects makes the city an ideal environment for cultural and creative ventures.

6. What does Berlin stand for you?

For freedom, diversity, change, and the courage to do things differently.

7. How does your company implement sustainability?

We rely on local partners, recyclable materials, modular technical solutions, and energy-efficient operations. Additionally, we develop formats that focus on social sustainability through education, inclusion, and participation.
