DVI Gruppe

Karsten Kluge, CEO, DVI Gruppe

1. Describe your company in a Tweet!

DVI is an owner of residential and commercial real estate with a large part of its portfolio in Berlin. We act with foresight, therefore long-term investments in our flats and commercial properties as well as a high level of customer satisfaction are the focus of our company. We provide all real estate services ourselves or through our own company investments.

2. Why are you involved as a Berlin Partner?

Berlin is our base. The DVI was founded here and about 90 percent of our housing stock is located in Berlin. With our commitment as a Berlin Partner, we want to intensify this close and long-standing relationship and make it more visible to the outside world. Berlin-Partner gives us the opportunity to establish long-term relationships with experts from the network and to jointly shape the future of Berlin.

3. What makes Berlin special for you?

Berlin is simply different from other German cities. Above all, it is the polycentric character that makes our city attractive. Instead of a city or inner city, Berlin has many centres, each with its own unique character. Berlin stands for urbanity, internationality, innovation and start-ups as well as for tradition, manageable neighbourhoods and extensive forests. At the same time, the city manages to keep on developing. This dynamism and diversity can now also be seen on the local property market. With DVI, we were quick to focus on Berlin as a location. The capital is, so to speak, the home of the company, which is why we are all the more pleased about the positive development and the opportunity to actively participate in shaping it.
