2. Why are you involved as a Berlin-Partner? 

The pandemic in particular has shown that major changes can affect us and the event industry very quickly. Thanks to our strong network, we have a high level of resilience - and this network needs to be expanded consistently and sustainably. We are therefore delighted to be involved and network with Berlin-Partner.


3. What issues drive you in relation to your industry?  

Like every other industry, the event industry is facing a major challenge - sustainable transformation. For many years, we have been carrying out the transformation process in our own company with the help of a management system - through our association work in the Berlin Event Network e.V. (BEN for short), we try to provide impetus for the entire (Berlin) event industry. However, we are not only concerned with ecological factors and fields of action, but also with social factors in particular - fair remuneration, work-life balance, working hours and occupational safety. If we want to be an attractive industry and employer for future generations, we need to take a comprehensive view of sustainability.

 

4. What makes Berlin special for you?  

Berlin is cosmopolitan, colourful, creative, different - not a classic capital city. It leaves room for development, still has a lot of potential and will continue to change in the future.

5. Why is Berlin attractive for your company?  

The event industry in Berlin continues to be a growth market. Berlin is attractive for young, dynamic entrepreneurs - there is room and space to develop new creative concepts but also to organise classic formats such as congresses and conferences in a highly professional environment. Berlin's international appeal also helps us to constantly generate new customers and target groups.

7. How does your company implement the topic of sustainability?   

We have been working on the sustainable transformation of our company for many years. With the help of the Sustainable Meetings Berlin sustainability management system, we have been able to structure and intensify this process and make it transparent and valid through external audits.
