Körber Digital GmbH

Daniel Szabo, CEO Körber Business Area Digital, Körber Digital GmbH

1. Describe your company in a Tweet!

Körber Digital is part of the Körber Group and the largest company builder of AI-powered SaaS solutions for the manufacturing industry in Germany: we build companies and develop user-centric software-as-a-service products that increase efficiency in manufacturing worldwide.

2. Why are you involved as a Berlin Partner?

For us, innovation means looking at existing challenges from different angles. Accordingly, we value the exchange with other experts and rely on the pooling of resources to achieve the best possible results.
The Berlin Partner Network offers a great platform for exchange at our main location in Berlin. We hope to generate network effects through cooperation.

3. What topics drive you in terms of your industry?

We believe that artificial intelligence will be the future of the manufacturing industry and logistics. Accordingly, we address the topics of digitalisation and data strategy with a clear focus on artificial intelligence with all the challenges and opportunities on the market.

4. Why is Berlin attractive for your company?

Körber Digital deliberately chose Berlin with its inspiring environment as its main location. For us, Berlin brings together a vibrant community of IT experts, start-ups of almost every kind and international customers in search of new solutions. Nowhere else in Germany is there such a concentration of creative and talented people from all over the world.

5. What does Berlin stand for you?

Inspiration, creation, entrepreneurial spirit, internationality, exchange and openness.

6. How does your company implement the topic of sustainability?

On the one hand, the use of digital solutions fundamentally offers the potential to act more sustainably. Accordingly, we also see ourselves as an enabler for our customers to achieve more sustainability. On the other hand, we at Körber are of course also pursuing clear sustainability goals: Körber wants to achieve CO2 neutrality by 2025.
