André Kaufung, CEO, innos GmbH

1. Describe your company in a tweet.

Today's challenges can only be solved together and innovatively. innos GmbH translates the enthusiasm of companies and organisations for concrete topics into strategic and operationally efficient networking, because this is crucial for the success of innovations. We believe in the magic of cooperation and develop strategies with our clients to turn ideas into effective network structures.

2. Why are you involved as a Berlin-Partner?

We are excited by Berlin's entrepreneurial dynamism. The city is a melting pot for the innovations of tomorrow. We want to make the local innovation ecosystem even more innovative and network it internationally by empowering individual players to unleash their full potential. Our commitment as a Berlin partner is a good opportunity for us to get to know people of conviction in the various sectors and to get sustainable innovation projects off the ground with them.

3. What issues drive you in relation to your industry?

Innovations arise at the interfaces of industries. We accompany innovations in the following topics, among others:

  • Innovations for a sustainable industry (creation and implementation of master plans) I Accompaniment of transformation processes.
  • Innovations for a seamless and sustainable e-charging infrastructure
  • Innovations for new materials
  • Innovations for a sustainable food system (standards / norms globally etc.)

4. What makes Berlin special for you?

  • Berlin breathes creativity. The city offers numerous meeting spaces for people to just make things - that's immensely inspiring!
  • Berlin is leading the way in digitalisation - an essential factor for competitive economic structures.
  • The proximity to decision-makers and fellow campaigners for a sustainable economy
  • A high level of internationality that characterises this city and offers non-exhaustive sources of inspiration

5. Why is Berlin attractive for your company?

  • A high density of talented workers
  • With our office location in the EUREF Campus, we are in the heart of the E-mobility hotspot and benefit from the proximity to the companies located there.

6. What does Berlin stand for?

  • Creativity
  • Movement
  • Innovative impulses

7. How does your company implement the topic of sustainability?

Our goal as innos GmbH is not only to understand sustainability as a promise, but to make our projects and business practices sustainable. For example, we have developed our own guidelines for organising events in a sustainable manner - from the selection of environmentally friendly venues to the reduction of waste and CO2 emissions. Acting sustainably must be low-threshold and enjoyable. That's why we want to inspire our clients, partners and innosians with clear communication and a comprehensible plan for the sustainable path. We want to convince people - regardless of where they work - to use their strengths to contribute to the sustainable transformation of the economy and society on both a small and large scale. There are no effective templates for inspiring paths. We develop individually how strengths can be used effectively - so that effects can be developed in the best possible way.
