pilot Berlin GmbH

Stefan Zarnic, Managing Director pilot Berlin GmbH

1. Describe your company.

pilot is one of the largest independent and owner-managed agency groups in Germany. Started as a media agency, pilot is now a full-service provider for effective brand communication and supports well-known national and international companies.

2. Why are you involved as a Berlin-Partner?

This new connection strengthens our position as a capital city agency, because we have made it our goal to constantly provide new impetus for the local economy and to help shape Berlin as a business location.

3. What topics drive you in relation to your industry?

We focus on innovation and at the same time on customized solutions in campaign planning. We are setting new standards in the industry in new areas such as retail media and geomarketing. Through this interplay of technology and human creativity, we enable new paths for growth and (further) development.

4. What makes Berlin special for you?

Berlin is special to us because of its international environment, its thriving innovation and start-up scene and its diverse creative scene. This dynamic inspires us and enables us to operate in a vibrant ecosystem and exploit the full potential in the field of media planning.

5. Why is Berlin attractive for your company?

Berlin has a lot to offer: The proximity to public institutions, the high economic growth and many exciting clients from a wide range of growth industries. The city also attracts many creative talents who enrich our agency with their skills and strengthen our innovative power.

6. What does Berlin stand for to you?

For us, Berlin stands for creativity and diversity, for growth and dynamism as well as for openness and tolerance. These values not only characterize the city and are reflected in its unique character, but also in our company.

7. How does your company implement the topic of sustainability?

CSR has long been an important factor at all pilot locations. For example, the pilot Group is certified with the impact label by the independent foundation myclimate every year. In Berlin, too, employees almost exclusively use public transport or their own bicycles due to the central location at the main train station, which has a positive effect on reducing CO2 emissions. Employees also volunteer at the pilot Social Day, where they support a wide range of social projects with their full muscle power, and the pilot Media Club, where children are taught how to use media responsibly in a fun way.
