AXICA Kongress- und Tagungszentrum Pariser Platz 3 GmbH

Marc Mundstock, Managing Director, AXICA Kongress- und Tagungszentrum Pariser Platz 3 GmbH

1. Describe your company in a Tweet!

AXICA is one of the most surprising event locations in Berlin: with its extraordinary architecture, its location directly at the Brandenburg Gate and a team of passionate hosts who implement the most diverse (sustainable!) events with experience and flair.

2. Why are you involved as a Berlin Partner?

It is our second attempt in this network, it will be up to us how well and how strong this network works for us and how strong we function for this network.
The fact is, only by working together can we create added value for the individual.

3. What topics drive you in relation to your industry?

The importance of our industry (in Berlin) is underestimated, the importance of meeting people is taken too much for granted and is not valued enough.
In the past, our sector did not value the performance of our employees enough, which is now leading to an enormous shortage of staff.
We need to break this cycle.

4. What makes Berlin special for you?

Berlin (still) has enormous potential, which is mostly uncovered, promoted and used by the people of this city. This development is exciting and holds many opportunities for all of us. Berlin can thus be one of the most exciting cities in the world - with its own Berlin charm.

5. Why is Berlin attractive for your company?

We are located in one of the most important places in the world, here at the Brandenburg Gate. Hardly any other place has more significance in history.

6. What does Berlin stand for?

For a formative, cautionary and sometimes also happy past.
For a somewhat hesitant, creative and sometimes visionary present.
For a promising, sustainable future.

7. How does your institution implement the topic of sustainability?

With employees who love what they do.
