Trade visitors can expect more world innovations than ever before at InnoTrans from 20-23 September 2022. Around 250 world premieres will be presented by the international exhibitors at the 13th edition of the leading trade fair for transport technology in Berlin, which takes place every two years in the capital.
As one of the important competence centres for railway technology and the host region of the trade fair, Berlin-Brandenburg is again represented this year with a joint stand on site. More than 80 innovative exhibitors from the capital region present themselves on more than 1200 square metres. It is highly attractive for companies from Berlin and Brandenburg to meet the international industry virtually on their own doorstep. The motto “The Future of Mobility” is the theme of the program.
This year, Berlin-Brandenburg is focusing, among other things, on women in this industry. Female executives will meet again this year at InnoTrans 2022. The agenda of the WIM Luncheon includes inspiring keynotes, innovation tours and panel discussions. With the motto “female.vision of mobility”, specific infrastructure projects related to the use of means of transport by women will also be presented in two world cafés at the joint Berlin-Brandenburg stand.
As part of the InnoTrans BUSINESS DAYS, which are taking place at the same time, the Enterprise Europe Network Berlin-Brandenburg in cooperation with Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH and Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH is also offering visitors free B2B matchmaking meetings, interesting panel discussions and lectures, as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas with exhibitors. They are supported by the Berlin-Brandenburg Traffic, Mobility and Logistics Cluster and the ERCI European Railway Clusters Initiative ASBL (ERCI). The program is divided into three parts: Personal 1:1 BUSINESS MEETINGS with international contacts from research, innovation and business can again be booked and held on site at the exhibition centre in Berlin or virtually. BUSINESS SESSIONS provide a forum for the presentation of innovations in the rail sector, including alternative drives, data management, predictive maintenance, 3D printing and combined transport. The highlights are the presentation of test fields for innovations in the railway sector, the presentation of the ERCI Innovation Awards and the lunch of the “Women in Mobility” network. Last but not least, thematic BUSINESS TOURS around the exhibition centre enable targeted meetings with relevant exhibitors.
