1. Wieso engagieren Sie sich für die Initiative? Oder Warum ist diese Initiative für Sie so wichtig?
Hannah Arendt schrieb 1941: „Vor Antisemitismus ist man nur noch auf dem Monde sicher." Ich hätte das gern als historisches Zitat abgehakt. Kann ich nicht. 2024 war Rekordjahr: 6.236 antisemitische Straftaten in Deutschland. Diskriminierung schadet – der Gesellschaft und jedem Unternehmen. Als Unternehmer in dieser Stadt schweige ich nicht dazu.

2. Was setzen Sie als Unternehmen schon um?
Wir haben die Charta der Vielfalt unterzeichnet, distanzieren uns seit vielen Jahren aktiv und sichtbar von rechtem Gedankengut – bei Einstellungen, Aufträgen und in Präsentationen. Den 3-D-Test als Hilfsmittel kennen wir nicht nur, wir wenden ihn an.

3. Was ist Ihr Statement gegen Antisemitismus?
Jüdisches Leben gehört zu Deutschland. Das steckt sogar in unserer Sprache: „meschugge", „Chuzpe”, „Tacheles”, „Schlamassel” – Wörter, die uns seit Jahrhunderten verbinden. Wer das versteht, weiß: Jüdische Kultur ist keine Fußnote der Geschichte. Sie ist lebendige, sichtbare Gegenwart. Und die verteidigen wir – laut und entschlossen.
